I just finished installed new brake pads (Hawk HPS, $112 from racinglab) and rotors (cheapo napa rotors, only $15 each!!!!) yesterday. No more squealing! But I also found out my front left tire is completely bald on the inside because of a whack alignment, so my ride is very harsh and I need some new tires soon.

Anyone in the mood for a big cruise anytime soon? Mine's road is awesome this time of year, just make sure all your maintenence is done on your car!

First off let me say HAPPY NEW YEAR!...Yes i did get stuck in the mud but o wells..now on to last nights cruise..hahahaa...So..Josh Cruz,Dookie,Jan,Mark,Johnny and myself decided to take a night cruise.We went to Santa Cruz,then came back up HWY 1. While on 1, we needed to take a 15 min break from driving.Durring that break, SOMEONE..wanted to do couple doughnuts..haha..that was coo though..and another SOMEONE was getting sideways in the dirt....no..it wasnt me(someone in a red car)..LOL..
Back to the drive...we went up 1 and turned onto 84, which was nice because the middle yellow lines were light up..so it was koo..the road was HERRA smooth. We come up to a stop sign and turned right..we were supposed to go straight..o wells..that road we turned on is hellla long. Think everyone was feeling tired. We stopped again, and we have a extra car following us..WTF?? yea..it was a nice blueWIDE body 240 with full roll cage...nice..we chopped it up for a while and he lead us down the mtn cus we were lost....so dookie follows first after the 240..Dookie gets front row seat of some "DRIFT SHOW"..the 240 and dookie take off...im worried about cops....next thing I know, a Sheriff jumps right behind dookie and in front of me.I almost lock up my brakes because we were going like 50...few mins go by and we see dookie with hazard lights on driving hella slow..but no cop...or 240. We continue down the mountain and at the bottom we see flashing lights, they are like 4 sheriffs with the 240. One cop walks to the street as we start to drive by, flashes his flashlight at me and tells me to go ahead, stopped dookie (red car) and mark (red car). The rest of us go further down the street to wait.Few mins go by and dookie and mark coming down to meet us.. Good thing is THUMBSDOWN cars are safe and no ticket. SWEEET!..on the ohter hand.240 may have been geting towed..o wells thas what u get when u JINX it saying "theres like 10 different ways to get down" or "we talked to the cops..they're hella chill"...o wells..we drove back home and headed to venus to fill our tummies from the excitement..hahaha..good times..heres a SANTA CLARA SHERIFFS pic for the event..hahaha...PAYCE

Ok so my next event seems pretty fucked for everyones schedule as it has been changed around from sunday the 25th to friday the 23rd, which even throws me off because i'll be going with not much money =/ Life goes on and this is the only way to get myself in serious competition mode but I just wish everyone could get it off. Ok I got big plans for this year but I won't just spill it out rite now hahaha. But I will start it off by saying THUNDER DRIFT JANUARY!!! Come join me and support me drifting!! This is the first time with this new setup so I am really really stoked about it! Ok second we do need to setup a cruise before we go back to school on the 20th for chabot heads. Maybe a 2 day cruise ending up in chula vista after day 1 hahaha. Lastly I will be setting up a Lemans Karting day somewhere in the middle to end of febuary which is so far in advance that yo mother should get the day off too. haha well thats it for now i'll prolly post again before I sleep tonight.

I had a good night sleep last night, so I woke up early enough to suit up to ride my bike. Got on my R6 and went to the gas station. On my way there, it was hella foggy, and I was wondering if I was making a mistake. I still decided to ride. Got to the gas station, and filled up. About 8 bucks to fill up,SCHGOWEET!.
On my way to work, the fog stopped around Stevenson, after that it was fine.Again, I arrived at my work and NO ONE was there, but this time I couldn't sleep cus I rode.It was ok, only had to wait 10 mins.Today I did more vehicles then I did yesterday.Couple oil changes,couple oil leaks,couple check engine lights,couple noises.
Went to Burger King for lunch. I ordered 3 Jr woppers, DOLLAR MENU FTW!
Did a couple more oil changes,and finished off with a check engine light which was a cyl 4 misfire. I sorta ripped the fuel injector o-rings when taking them out, so I'm stuck until they get here tomarrow.Now I'm UPDATING this dang page...muahahahahaaa..time to go home..

well. It seems like I'm the only one updating this blog. So I guess that it will be a day in GiLs life..hahah

ok so lets begin...this morning I opened my eyes around 5am.Got ready for work and autostarted my car because I was too lazy to get suited up to ride my bike.On my way to work, I was falling asleep, so I turned on the A/C on full blast. That kept me awake.When I got to work at 6:25, there was nobody there to open the shop. I decided to take a 30 min nap in the drivers seat of my car. So 7am rolls by and I start working. I did one vehicle whose complaint was rough idle. Turned out to be an EGR tube seal.Grabbed my next job and it was a 60k major service(GRAVY). Performed the 60k major service and went to lunch. I was craving something asian, so I went to this Korean BBQ place near my work.Ordered my food and waited. After getting my food, I made my way across the street to the am/pm gas station to get a drink because the BBQ place wanted 1.50 for a can of soda.Once I got back to work, I ate my food and drank my drink, surfed the net a bit, and now Im bloging. haha..well I'm gona go home now..

So this is Cyclocross. I did my first race this morning with mini cooper John, it was super fun (i placed last, behind this man next to me who's 3 times my age). Oh, and thats my new bike im riding, its a 08' Jamis aurora elite. Google it! haha. its a touring bike, but it does just fine for cross although it is a LOT heavier than those dedicated cross bikes. Also, I might not sell my bike anymore to use it as a dedicated fun bike. although if anyone wants to buy it im willing to negotiate a deal since i wont be riding it more than once a week at the most.

Um..lets try to find a place other than my house. I mean yea we can have it here,lets jus have it as a last resort if we cant find a place. Try and think of a place that has light and picnic tables. 5pm sounds good,i'll be home by then.
Most parks close at sundown and now a days sun goes down around 530. So I dunno.
But yea..next sat EPIC BBQ..dunno where but around 5 or maybe 4. Plus 20 bucks buy in..would soo work cus the more money we have...the better quality food we get..I say..u dont pay..u dont eat..LoL..JK..but not really..

D1 is canceled this year because D1 now has a new President, and the schedules of the Japan D1 drivers and the US D1 drivers did not work out so they just canceled it i guess. Wassup all...havent updated in a WHILE. Since i was at starbucks by myself for an hour today, I got bored and here I am at home. Lets see....oh THANK YOU JOSH! for my pink rear strut bar. Hopefully I get it in on sunday after we get brads Hachi..we'll see when we get back. haha. So Brad going from AWD to RWD. booo..haha JP. I like AWD,RWD, and FWD. They all have their ups..n downs.. This is jus what i think..AWD is expensive due to all the moving parts(front diff/rear diff/driveshafts/)all which mean more sheit to maintain. RWD is Cheaper but still expensive.FWD cheapest, but still on a budget(too many parts to choose from). Tires for AWD expensive cus it is recomended that you replace all 4 at the same time. RWD is kinda expensive due to the fact that most of us would wana get that thing HERRA sideways.I say FWD has it easy on tires.They still have the rear to wear down. All this is of course if you have no alignment problems, and are in the specs.
AWD + Snow/Rain + GAS = FUN
RWD + Extra tires or RAIN + GAS = FUN
FWD + Trays + GAS = FUN

AWD or FWD or RWD...no matter what...you need gas. oh BTW today i saw 3.15 for 91 newark 76 across BIG O TIRE...its getting cheaper..haha
any how...no matter what ...CARS ARE FUN but expensive!

Wassup peoples.This was jus a thought. Where do we usually go fri nights with FixEE bikes, skateboards, cars? yea S.A. Some of us skate..couple of us ride fixys, most of us jus chill there.
My thought is this..I say we have Friday Night Fights..lol. I have two pairs of Boxing Gloves.
I figure we "BOX" each other. Height vs Height. FWD vs RWD vs AWD. Friend vs Friend. Skater vs Biker. Starbucks vs Techs. Get the point.
I'm thinking we are str8 noobs, and most of us smoke..not me.Soooo, I say 3 rounds. 1 min each.
Loser buys winner a drink or dinner if you want to box for sumthing..hahah, and NO HOLDING GRUDGES..we're all friends and lets keep it like that. If you loose, you loose. If you win, you get bragging rights and dinner. Can have rematch the next week..gives you a week to train..hahah

I know one match that i heard wanted to happen.. but ~SOMEONE~ had a cast..not anymore..hahaha
